Bahrain Salary Guide — What Employers Actually Advertise

No Bahrain sector yet has enough published BHD salary ranges to report honestly, so nothing is shown. Pay is discussed at interview on the live vacancies.

Written and maintained by the SouqFind editorial teamLast updated Midpoints of publicly advertised BHD ranges on live SouqFind vacancies. A sector appears only once at least five vacancies from two or more separate sources have published pay, and figures that look like data-entry errors are held back.

Advertised monthly salary by sector (BHD)

Nothing to report yet — check the live vacancies instead; many employers state pay in the job description.

Advertised monthly salary by city (BHD)

All sectors together, per city. Pay varies far more by job title than by location — use the tables above for what a specific role pays.

How these figures are produced

  1. Every active, unexpired vacancy on SouqFind is read at page load.
  2. Vacancies where the employer hid the salary, or published it in a currency other than BHD, are excluded entirely.
  3. For each remaining vacancy the midpoint of the advertised range is taken as one observation.
  4. Each observation is screened. Anything outside a plausible monthly Bahrain range (BHD 406000), or far from comparable vacancies in the same sector, is held back for checking with the employer instead of being published. 3 figures are currently held back.
  5. Observations are grouped by sector; a sector is published only when at least 5 vacancies from 2 or more separate sources have advertised a figure, so one employer repeating a role cannot set the market.
  6. Low, median and high are the minimum, median and maximum of those observations. The sample size, employer count and a confidence label are printed beside them.
  7. The same figures are stored once a day, so movements over time can be reported without rewriting history.

Common questions

What is the average salary in Bahrain?

There is no single figure. Pay depends heavily on sector, experience and whether accommodation and transport are provided. The table on this page gives the low, median and high monthly BHD figures actually advertised by employers on SouqFind, per sector, with the number of vacancies each figure is based on.

Why do so few Bahrain jobs show a salary?

Most employers in Bahrain treat pay as negotiable and discuss it at interview, so they publish the role without a figure. Only the vacancies where an employer chose to publish a BHD range are used here, which is why sample sizes are small and stated openly.

Are these salaries basic pay or total package?

They are the monthly figure the employer advertised, which in Bahrain is normally basic pay. Accommodation, transport, food allowance, overtime and annual air tickets are usually listed separately in the vacancy's benefits.

How often is this updated?

Continuously. The figures are recalculated from live, unexpired vacancies every time the page is requested. A daily snapshot of the same figures is also stored so month-on-month movements can be reported later.

How do you stop one wrong salary skewing the table?

Every advertised figure is screened before it counts. Anything outside a plausible monthly Bahrain range, or far away from comparable vacancies in the same sector, is held back for checking rather than published. A sector only appears once at least five vacancies from at least two separate sources have advertised pay — separate employers, or separate adverts where several vacancies are posted through one account.
