Accountant
Job Description
A multinational company in Bahrain is seeking an experienced General Accountant. Responsibilities include accurately recording and classifying business transactions; maintaining general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable; reconciling bank, customer, supplier, inventory, and control accounts; monitoring budgets, expenses, cash flow, and working capital; preparing VAT filings, supporting audits, and ensuring regulatory compliance; processing invoices, payments, receipts, accruals, and provisions; and preparing balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements, and cash-flow reports.
Requirements
- Education
- Bachelor’s Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field
- Experience
- 3 – 5 Years
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience in a reputable organisation.
- Experience in financial accounting and bookkeeping.
- Ability to prepare and interpret financial statements.
- Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Awareness of tax and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of audit and internal-control procedures.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SAP Business One.
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
