Civil Site Engineer
Job Description
Join our construction team in Bahrain as a Civil Site Engineer. The role involves supervising and coordinating daily civil construction activities and ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules. Responsibilities include monitoring construction progress, workmanship, quality, and productivity; coordinating with subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, MEP teams, and other site personnel; supervising manpower, materials, equipment, and site resources; conducting regular site inspections and identifying technical or construction issues; coordinating setting out, foundations, concrete works, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, finishes, and other civil works; checking quantities, dimensions, levels, alignment, and completed works; monitoring project progress and preparing daily and weekly site reports; coordinating material requirements and ensuring material availability according to project needs; assisting with inspections, snagging, rectification, testing, and project handover; ensuring compliance with project quality standards, HSE procedures, and applicable Bahrain regulations; maintaining accurate site records, reports, drawings, and project documentation; and coordinating with the Project Manager and relevant teams to ensure the timely completion of works.
Requirements
- Education
- Bachelor's Degree In Civil Engineering Or A Related Field
- Experience
- 3 – 5 Years
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant civil construction or site experience.
- Strong experience in building construction projects; villa, commercial, or high-rise experience is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and site procedures.
- Ability to read and understand structural, architectural, and civil engineering drawings.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Experience supervising subcontractors and site teams.
- Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and site management skills.
- Bahrain or GCC construction experience is preferred.
