Barista
Job Description
We are seeking friendly and enthusiastic baristas to prepare quality coffee and beverages, provide excellent customer service, handle orders and payments, and maintain a clean and organised café area. Duties include preparing coffee, tea and other beverages according to company standards, taking customer orders accurately, processing payments, providing friendly and efficient customer service, maintaining the cleanliness of the coffee station, equipment and seating area, restocking ingredients, cups and other supplies, following food safety, hygiene and sanitation procedures, monitoring ingredient levels and reporting shortages, handling cash and point-of-sale transactions accurately, assisting with opening and closing procedures, and supporting other café duties when required.
Requirements
- Previous barista or café experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of coffee preparation.
- Good customer-service skills.
- Basic English communication; Arabic is an advantage.
- Numeracy and ability to handle cash and POS systems.
- Good personal hygiene.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
