Barista Helper
Job Description
Support the barista with the daily operations of the coffee shop. Prepare and organize ingredients, cups, utensils, and other supplies; assist with basic food and beverage preparation as instructed; wash and clean equipment, utensils, and work areas; keep the coffee station and customer areas clean and organized; restock ingredients and supplies when needed; assist with receiving and organizing deliveries; dispose of waste properly; maintain good hygiene standards; support the barista during busy periods; and perform other reasonable duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Education
- No Specific Degree Required.
- Previous café, restaurant, or food-service experience is advantageous but not required.
- Good personal hygiene and a clean, professional appearance.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and perform basic manual tasks.
- Willingness to learn.
- Basic English communication skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.
- Follow food-safety, hygiene, and workplace-safety procedures.
