Production Designer (Carpentry & Joinery)
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Production Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in carpentry and joinery production and be capable of preparing accurate production drawings and manufacturing documentation. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare detailed production drawings for carpentry and joinery works. - Create accurate cutting lists for production. - Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) for manufacturing and procurement. - Coordinate with the production, procurement, and project teams to ensure smooth execution. - Optimize material usage and minimize production waste. - Ensure all production drawings comply with project specifications and manufacturing standards. Requirements: - Strong knowledge of carpentry and joinery manufacturing. - Experience in preparing cutting lists and Bills of Materials (BOM). - Proficiency in PolyBoard software. - Good working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D & 3D. - Proficiency in SketchUp. - Experience with 3D modelling/rendering software is an advantage. - Ability to read architectural and interior fit-out drawings.
