Job Description

A highly skilled and authoritative Carpentry Factory Foreman is required to oversee and direct daily operations in a wood manufacturing and custom millwork facility. Location: Tubli. Employment Type: Full Time. The role involves translating architectural blueprints and shop drawings into high-quality wood products, cabinetry, and furniture. The candidate will supervise a team of carpenters, machine operators, and assemblers, ensuring that all projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to precise quality standards. The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on experience in finish and rough carpentry, deep knowledge of wood manufacturing machinery, and strong leadership skills to maintain a safe, productive, and efficient shop floor. A minimum of 5 years of professional carpentry experience is required, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead carpenter role within a factory, millwork shop, or high-volume production environment. Duties and Responsibilities: Production Planning & Shop Floor Supervision: - Manage daily workflows by assigning tasks to bench carpenters, CNC operators, sanders, and finishers based on production schedules and individual expertise. - Interpret blueprints by reading and analysing architectural blueprints, shop drawings, and cutting lists to ensure precise execution of custom and production-line woodwork. - Track project timelines by monitoring the progress of multiple woodworking jobs simultaneously, ensuring delivery deadlines are met for construction or installation teams.
