MEP Construction Supervisor
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced MEP Construction Supervisor with a strong background in building construction to supervise and coordinate daily MEP activities on construction sites, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting works. The successful candidate must have hands-on experience in these areas and the ability to manage site teams and subcontractors. Responsibilities include supervising and coordinating daily MEP installation and construction activities; overseeing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting works; reading and interpreting MEP drawings, shop drawings, layouts, and specifications; coordinating MEP activities with civil, structural, architectural, and finishing teams; supervising technicians, workers, foremen, and subcontractors; monitoring manpower, materials, equipment, productivity, and site progress; conducting site inspections and ensuring proper quality and workmanship; identifying and resolving MEP clashes, technical issues, and installation problems; ensuring that all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, schedules, and safety requirements; coordinating testing, commissioning, snagging, rectification, and handover activities; preparing daily and weekly progress and manpower reports; and coordinating with MEP Engineers, Project Managers, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors. Applicants should have 3–5 or more years of experience in MEP construction supervision, strong hands-on experience in building construction, good knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems, the ability to read and understand MEP and shop drawings, and experience supervising construction teams and subcontractors. Experience in villa, residential, commercial, or high-rise projects is an advantage. Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills are required. A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, MEP Engineering, or a related field is preferred, and Bahrain or GCC construction experience is highly preferred. Candidates must be currently available in Bahrain, and immediate joining is strongly preferred.
