Elv Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced ELV Engineer to join our team and manage the design, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems across projects in Bahrain on a full-time basis. Key responsibilities include designing, supervising, installing, testing, and commissioning ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, fire alarm, structured cabling, public address, SMATV, intercom, and building management systems. The engineer will review technical drawings, specifications, bills of quantities, and shop drawings; coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and other engineering teams; conduct site inspections; and ensure that work complies with project specifications, applicable standards, and safety requirements. The role also includes troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring their timely resolution, preparing technical reports, documentation, and testing and commissioning reports, and monitoring project progress, quality, and compliance with approved standards. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related engineering discipline, have a minimum of five years of experience in ELV systems and project execution, possess strong knowledge of ELV systems, installation, testing, and commissioning, be able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications, demonstrate good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering or software tools. Bahrain or GCC experience is preferred.
