Job Description
We are hiring a school driver and maintenance handyman in Bahrain to safely transport children and staff on assigned routes and carry out general repairs and maintenance inside the kindergarten. Responsibilities include maintaining punctual pickup and drop-off schedules, checking the manual minibus daily, keeping it clean and well maintained, and ensuring that no child remains inside the vehicle after every journey. The role also involves minor plumbing, painting, furniture repairs, repairs to doors, locks, and fittings, assisting with moving furniture, setting up classrooms, and completing other practical tasks as required. Any faults requiring specialist repairs must be reported promptly. Shortlisted candidates will be assessed on their driving and practical maintenance skills.
Requirements

- Applicants must hold a valid Bahrain driving licence appropriate for the minibus being driven.
- Proven experience driving manual minibuses and practical experience in general repairs and maintenance are required.
- Basic English communication skills are required.
- Applicants must be responsible, patient, punctual, and respectful towards children and staff.
- Previous driving experience in a school or kindergarten is preferred.
- Applicants must be capable of performing both driving and maintenance duties.
