Job Description
Biblo Bakery, Pâtisserie and Café in Saar Springs, Bahrain, is seeking a waiter/cashier to work as a front-of-house all-rounder across table service, cashier duties, takeaway orders and daily café operations. The role involves welcoming guests, explaining the menu, taking accurate orders, providing attentive table service, operating the cashier and POS system, processing payments accurately, handling cash responsibly, and preparing, checking and packing takeaway and delivery orders, including Talabat orders. The successful candidate will present pastries and products neatly, refill the display, keep the counter and dining area clean and ready for guests, coordinate with the kitchen and barista team to ensure orders are served correctly and on time, respond to guest questions and concerns professionally, inform the supervisor when an issue requires attention, and support opening, closing, cleaning and restocking duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience in café or restaurant service and cashier work is preferred.
- Clear spoken English and a warm, professional manner.
- Confidence using a POS system and handling multiple orders during busy periods.
- Good attention to hygiene, presentation, order accuracy and teamwork.
- Ability to work across all front-of-house duties.
Restriction / Special Note
- Must be willing to work weekends and shifts.
