Tissue Machine Technician/Operator
Job Description
A tissue manufacturing company in Bahrain is seeking a Tissue Machine Technician/Operator to join its production team. The role involves operating and monitoring tissue converting machines and production equipment; setting up machines according to product specifications and production requirements; and adjusting machine settings to ensure the correct sheet size, folding, cutting, perforation, and production speed. Duties also include troubleshooting machine problems; carrying out basic mechanical adjustments and repairs; monitoring product quality during production; maintaining consistent output; performing machine changeovers; assisting with preventive maintenance; identifying abnormal machine noise, vibration, alignment, or other mechanical issues; working closely with the production and maintenance teams to minimise machine downtime; maintaining a clean and safe working area; following company safety procedures; recording production information; and reporting machine or quality problems to the supervisor. The position is based in Bahrain.
Requirements
- Previous experience operating tissue paper or tissue converting machines.
- Experience with facial tissue, toilet roll, hand towel, maxi roll, or similar tissue converting machines is advantageous.
- Good knowledge of machine operation, setting, troubleshooting, and changeover procedures.
- Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting knowledge is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and meet production targets.
- Relevant experience in a tissue factory is strongly preferred.
