Painter
Job Description
We are looking for a painter to work at our construction sites. Responsibilities include preparing walls, ceilings, doors, furniture, and other surfaces for painting; applying paint, primer, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment; mixing and matching paints and colors according to the required specifications; carrying out surface preparation, including sanding, filling cracks, patching, and smoothing; performing repainting and touch-up work as required; inspecting completed work to ensure a smooth, even, and high-quality finish; protecting furniture, flooring, fixtures, and other areas from paint splashes and damage; maintaining and safely using painting tools, equipment, and materials; keeping the work area clean, organised, and free from hazards; and following safety procedures and company standards while carrying out all painting activities.
Requirements
- Experience with surface preparation, painting, repainting, and touch-up work.
- Proficiency in using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Ability to mix and match paints and colors, safely maintain painting tools and equipment, protect surrounding areas, and follow workplace safety procedures.
