Estimator / Quantity Surveyor
Job Description
Prepare accurate quotations and cost estimates for metal and steel works. Read and understand AutoCAD drawings and project specifications; calculate quantities of steel, stainless steel, aluminum, glass, and other materials; and calculate fabrication, welding, cutting, CNC, installation, and labor costs. Prepare bills of quantities and material take-offs, request and compare supplier prices, coordinate with clients, suppliers, and the production team, and ensure quotations are accurate and submitted on time.
Requirements
- Experience in metal fabrication, steel works, or construction.
- Strong knowledge of quantity take-offs and costing.
- AutoCAD knowledge preferred.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and quotation software.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Bahrain or GCC experience is an advantage.
