Head Barista
Job Description
Black Panda Cafe in Jurdab is seeking a Head Barista to lead its specialty coffee bar. Responsibilities include developing and introducing innovative drinks to improve and expand the menu; maintaining high beverage quality standards and consistency across all orders; managing coffee bar inventory and ensuring the freshness of beans and milk supplies; training and mentoring junior baristas to maintain excellent service; and ensuring strict cleanliness and sanitation of the coffee station and equipment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a senior or head barista in a specialty coffee shop.
- Extensive knowledge of specialty coffee preparation, manual brewing techniques, espresso calibration, and latte art.
- Strong creativity in beverage creation and menu development.
- Deep understanding of coffee beans, roasting profiles, and extraction variables.
- Ability to train and mentor junior baristas.
