MEP Site Supervisor
Job Description
Supervise and coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related MEP works at construction sites, ensuring that activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, project requirements, and schedules. Key responsibilities include supervising daily MEP installation and construction activities; coordinating with civil, architectural, structural, and other site teams; supervising MEP subcontractors, technicians, and workers; reviewing and interpreting MEP drawings, shop drawings, schematics, and technical specifications; monitoring the quality, progress, and proper execution of MEP works; conducting regular site inspections and identifying installation issues or defects; coordinating with MEP Engineers and Project Management to resolve site and technical issues; monitoring the manpower, materials, tools, and equipment required for MEP activities; coordinating material requirements and deliveries with procurement and site teams; assisting with testing, commissioning, inspections, snagging, and handover of MEP systems; maintaining daily site reports and records of MEP activities and progress; ensuring compliance with project HSE requirements and safe working practices; and reporting delays, technical issues, and site concerns to the Project Manager or MEP Engineer.
Requirements
- Experience
- 3 Years
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in MEP site supervision within the construction industry.
- Previous Bahrain construction experience is preferred/required.
- Experience in MEP contracting, building construction, villas, commercial buildings, high-rise buildings, residential projects, or villa construction is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to read and understand MEP drawings, shop drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Experience coordinating MEP subcontractors and site teams.
- Good knowledge of MEP installation, testing, commissioning, and construction procedures.
- Strong site supervision, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
