Marine Mechanic
Job Description
An experienced, highly skilled, hands-on marine mechanic is required for a full-time, permanent position in Al Hidd or elsewhere in Bahrain. The successful candidate will support marine operations by providing high-quality diagnostic and repair services for Yamaha and Mercury outboard and inboard engines. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, overhauling and repairing mechanical, electrical and fuel-system issues; performing scheduled preventive maintenance, tune-ups, and winterization and summarization procedures; conducting comprehensive dockside and sea-trial testing to verify repair quality and vessel safety; and maintaining clear records of work orders, parts used and time spent on each project. Applicants must have 3 to 5 years of dedicated experience servicing Yamaha and Mercury marine engines, a deep understanding of advanced marine diagnostic tools, electrical schematics and hydraulic systems, and a good command of English with the ability to communicate technical issues clearly. Candidates must currently reside in Bahrain and hold a transferable visa or be available for immediate local hiring.
