MEP Construction Supervisor
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced MEP Construction Supervisor with a strong background in building construction to supervise and coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drainage, and firefighting works on construction sites. This job description covers the supervision and coordination of MEP construction activities, and the key responsibilities include supervising daily MEP works, coordinating them with civil, structural, architectural, and finishing teams, reading and interpreting MEP drawings, shop drawings, layouts, and technical specifications, and supervising technicians, workers, foremen, and subcontractors. The successful candidate will monitor manpower, materials, equipment, productivity, and daily work progress; conduct site inspections; ensure proper quality and workmanship; identify and resolve MEP clashes, installation issues, and site coordination problems; ensure installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, and HSE requirements; coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging, rectification, and handover activities; prepare daily and weekly progress reports; and coordinate with MEP Engineers, Project Managers, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors. A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, MEP Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Candidates must have 3–5 years of experience in MEP construction or site supervision, strong hands-on experience in building construction, good knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems, the ability to read and understand MEP and shop drawings, experience supervising construction teams and subcontractors, and strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Experience with villa, residential, commercial, or high-rise projects is an advantage, while Bahrain or GCC construction experience is highly preferred. Candidates must be currently available in Bahrain, and immediate joiners are strongly preferred. Candidates whose experience is mainly in maintenance or facilities management without strong hands-on construction experience may not be suitable for this position.

- Ability to read and understand MEP and shop drawings
- Experience supervising construction teams and subcontractors
- Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Bahrain or GCC construction experience highly preferred
