Senior Accountant
Job Description
We are hiring a Senior Accountant in Bahrain. The position covers maintaining and reviewing accounting records, preparing and posting journal entries, performing reconciliations and reporting, preparing audit documentation, following up on accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with financial statements and management reporting.
Requirements
- Experience
- 4 – 5 Years
- Strong accounting knowledge
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience with month-end closing and reconciliations
- Knowledge of VAT and tax compliance as applicable in Bahrain
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Experience maintaining and reviewing accurate accounting records
- Experience preparing and posting journal entries, reconciliations, and reports
- Experience supporting audit preparation and documentation
- Experience managing accounts payable and accounts receivable follow-ups
- Experience assisting with financial statements and reporting to management
- Hands-on experience with Tally, QuickBooks, and Odoo
