Electrical Sales Engineer
Job Description
The Electrical Sales Engineer supports the company’s business development and sales initiatives by combining technical knowledge with client-facing skills. Reporting to the General Manager of Business Development and Sales within the Business Development and Sales Department, the role includes assisting with the preparation of technical quotations, proposals, and tender submissions; providing product demonstrations and explaining technical specifications to clients; evaluating client requirements and aligning suitable solutions with the company’s offerings; and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of electrical products, systems, and industry standards. The engineer will support lead-generation activities by preparing client profiles and inquiry sheets, participate in client meetings alongside the General Manager, assist with market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities, and maintain accurate records of client communications, quotations, and follow-ups. The role also involves serving as a secondary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely responses to inquiries, supporting the development of long-term client relationships through professional communication and service, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure the smooth execution of client requirements. Additional responsibilities include preparing daily activity reports, maintaining sales call records, tracking inquiries, quotations, and conversion rates, and assisting with the preparation of monthly sales performance reports for management review. Performance will be assessed based on the accuracy and timeliness of technical quotations and proposals, the number of client inquiries successfully converted into opportunities, responsiveness to client communications and average turnaround time, contribution to overall sales pipeline growth through the percentage of leads supported, and the quality of technical support provided to the General Manager and sales team.

- Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering
- Experience
- 0 – 2 Years
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Applicants may be fresh graduates or have up to two years of experience.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, industrial equipment, and energy solutions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and basic CAD or engineering software.
- Ability to work under supervision, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Fluency in English is required.
