Site Foreman
Job Description
We are seeking a Site Foreman to supervise daily construction activities, manage manpower, and ensure that work is completed safely, to the required quality standards, and within the agreed schedule. Responsibilities include planning daily work and assigning tasks to workers according to the project programme; supervising civil works, including reinforcement, formwork, concreting, blockwork, plastering, and finishing; coordinating electrical and plumbing activities with the relevant trades and the site engineer; reading approved drawings, checking dimensions and levels, and reporting discrepancies before work proceeds; monitoring workmanship and arranging corrections before requesting inspections; maintaining daily worker attendance, working-hour records, and productivity reports; monitoring material usage, preventing unnecessary waste, and requesting materials in advance; coordinating deliveries, equipment, and access to keep site activities moving; maintaining site cleanliness, protecting completed work, and enforcing safety rules and personal protective Equipment requirements; reporting delays, defects, incidents, and decisions required from the project manager; submitting daily progress reports with completed quantities, manpower details, and site photographs; preparing the next day’s work plan and a weekly look-ahead schedule; and being present on site for eight working hours each scheduled working day. - Proven experience as a Site Foreman on building construction projects.
- Practical knowledge of structural, civil, and finishing works.
- Ability to read architectural and structural drawings and coordinate MEP trades.
- Ability to lead workers, manage subcontractors, and maintain site discipline.
- Good organisation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prepare clear daily reports and use WhatsApp or email for site updates.
- Bahrain or GCC construction experience is preferred.
- A valid Bahrain driving licence is preferred.
