Job Description
Urgent hiring is underway in Bahrain for a lifeguard. Responsibilities include continuously monitoring swimming areas, water conditions, and guest behaviour to prevent accidents and identify swimmers in distress; enforcing facility regulations, issuing warnings for unsafe behaviour, and directing guests away from hazardous situations when necessary; performing water rescues and providing prompt first aid, CPR, or emergency medical care until professional assistance arrives; keeping the pool deck and surrounding areas clean, organised, and free of hazards; checking pool chemical levels and water quality where required; and greeting visitors, answering their questions, and providing towels or recreational assistance. The working schedule is 9 hours, including a 1-hour break. Relevant lifeguard certifications, strong swimming proficiency, physical stamina, the ability to remain alert during long shifts, and skills in water rescue, first aid, CPR, and emergency response are required, along with 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
