Site Surveyor
Job Description
An experienced Site Surveyor is required to join a construction team in Bahrain. The role involves conducting accurate site surveys, setting out construction works, checking levels and coordinates, and supporting site activities for villas, buildings, and other construction projects. Responsibilities include conducting construction site surveys, measurements, leveling, and site inspections; carrying out setting out for foundations, columns, walls, slabs, roads, drainage, and other construction works; establishing and verifying benchmarks, coordinates, levels, and reference points; reading and interpreting architectural, structural, civil, and engineering drawings; operating surveying equipment; checking the dimensions, elevations, alignment, levels, and positioning of construction elements; coordinating with Site Engineers, Project Engineers, supervisors, consultants, and subcontractors; preparing survey reports, field notes, measurements, calculations, and as-built survey information; identifying discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions and reporting them to the concerned engineer; maintaining accurate records of survey data and site measurements; and ensuring that surveying activities are carried out in accordance with project specifications, quality requirements, and safety standards.
Requirements
- Education
- Diploma Or Bachelor's Degree In Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, Or A Related Field
- Experience
- 3 – 5 Years
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- 3–5 years of relevant construction surveying experience
- Hands-on experience with Total Station, Auto Level, GPS/GNSS, and related surveying equipment
- Strong knowledge of construction setting out, leveling, coordinates, benchmarks, and site measurements
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and engineering drawings
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and survey data processing is an advantage
- Experience in building, villa, commercial, high-rise, or civil construction projects is preferred
- Bahrain or GCC construction experience is preferred
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and site coordination skills
