Site Surveyor
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Site Surveyor to join our construction team in Bahrain. The job summary is that the successful candidate will be responsible for conducting site surveys, measurements, leveling, and setting-out works; establishing benchmarks, control points, coordinates, and reference points; and accurately setting out foundations, columns, walls, slabs, roads, and other construction works. Key responsibilities include operating Total Stations, Auto Levels, GPS/GNSS, and other surveying equipment; checking levels, dimensions, alignments, elevations, and coordinates against approved drawings; reading and interpreting architectural, structural, civil, and engineering drawings; preparing survey reports, field notes, calculations, and as-built survey data; coordinating with Site Engineers, Project Engineers, Supervisors, and subcontractors; identifying discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions and reporting them promptly; assisting with the preparation and verification of as-built drawings; ensuring that surveying equipment is properly maintained and calibrated; and following project quality, safety, and site procedures. Requirements include a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field and 3–6 years of relevant construction surveying experience. Strong knowledge of Total Stations, Auto Levels, GPS/GNSS, and surveying techniques, the ability to read and interpret construction drawings, and knowledge of setting out, leveling, coordinates, benchmarks, and site measurements are required. Experience in building, villa, commercial, high-rise, or civil construction projects is an advantage, while knowledge of AutoCAD and survey data processing software is preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, along with good communication and coordination skills, is required. Applicants must currently be available in Bahrain, immediate joining is highly preferred, and previous Bahrain or GCC construction experience is an advantage.
