Civil Engineer
Job Description
We are looking for a qualified Civil Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. Responsibilities include supervising and managing daily civil construction activities at project sites; reviewing drawings, specifications, bills of quantities, and project requirements; coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and site workers; monitoring construction progress and ensuring that work is completed according to schedule; ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards; conducting site inspections and monitoring materials and workmanship; preparing daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports; checking quantities, measurements, and material requirements; identifying and resolving technical and site-related issues; coordinating with consultants and project management teams; ensuring the proper implementation of health and safety procedures at the site; and monitoring project costs and material usage while minimising unnecessary wastage.
Requirements
- Education
- Bachelor's Degree In Civil Engineering Or Equivalent.
- Relevant experience in civil construction and site supervision.
- Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage site activities and meet project deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is an advantage.
- GCC experience is an advantage.
