MEP Site Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced MEP Site Engineer to supervise and coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, drainage, HVAC, and firefighting works at construction sites, particularly within building construction projects. The successful candidate will supervise daily MEP installation and construction activities, ensure that all works are completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedules, and review and interpret MEP drawings, shop drawings, schematics, and technical documents. The role includes coordinating MEP works with civil, structural, architectural, and finishing teams; supervising subcontractors, technicians, and site workers; monitoring manpower, materials, productivity, and work progress; conducting site inspections; identifying and resolving technical or coordination issues; coordinating material requirements, inspections, testing, and commissioning; ensuring compliance with quality, HSE, and project requirements; assisting with snagging, rectification, testing, commissioning, and final handover; preparing daily and weekly MEP progress reports; and coordinating with consultants, clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and project management. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, MEP Engineering, or a related field, with 3 to 5 or more years of relevant MEP construction experience and strong hands-on experience in building construction. Good knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems, the ability to read and interpret MEP and shop drawings and technical specifications, experience supervising subcontractors and site teams, knowledge of MEP installation, testing, and commissioning, and good knowledge of QA/QC and HSE procedures are required. Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office is an advantage. Experience in Bahrain or the GCC is highly preferred, as is experience with villas, high-rise, residential, or commercial projects. Candidates must currently be available in Bahrain, and immediate joiners are highly preferred. Candidates with strong Bahrain construction experience, particularly those experienced in high-rise buildings and large villa projects, will be given priority.

- 3–5+ years of relevant MEP construction experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in building construction.
- Good knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.
- Ability to read and interpret MEP and shop drawings and technical specifications.
- Experience supervising subcontractors and site teams.
- Knowledge of MEP installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Good knowledge of QA/QC and HSE procedures.
- AutoCAD and MS Office knowledge is an advantage.
- Bahrain/GCC construction experience is highly preferred.
- Experience with villas, high-rise, residential, or commercial projects is highly preferred.
