MEP Construction Supervisor
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced MEP Construction Supervisor with a strong background in building construction to supervise and coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drainage, and firefighting works on construction sites. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience managing site teams and subcontractors and ensuring that MEP works are completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules. Responsibilities include supervising daily MEP works; coordinating MEP activities with civil, structural, architectural, and finishing teams; reading and interpreting MEP drawings, shop drawings, layouts, and technical specifications; supervising technicians, workers, foremen, and subcontractors; monitoring manpower, materials, equipment, productivity, and daily work progress; conducting site inspections and ensuring proper quality and workmanship; identifying and resolving MEP clashes, installation issues, and site coordination problems; ensuring that installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, and HSE requirements; coordinating testing, commissioning, snagging, rectification, and handover activities; preparing daily and weekly progress reports; and coordinating with MEP Engineers, Project Managers, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors. A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, MEP Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Candidates must have 3–5 years of experience in MEP construction or site supervision, strong hands-on experience in building construction, knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems, the ability to read and understand MEP and shop drawings, experience supervising construction teams and subcontractors, and strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Experience with villas, residential, commercial, or high-rise projects is an advantage, while Bahrain or GCC construction experience is highly preferred. Candidates must currently be available in Bahrain, and immediate joining is strongly preferred. Candidates whose experience is mainly in maintenance or facilities management without strong hands-on construction experience may not be suitable for this position.
