High School English Teacher
Job Description
The High School English Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging English language and literature lessons to high school students, supporting academic achievement, critical thinking, communication, and preparation for further education. The role includes planning and delivering high-quality English lessons aligned with the school curriculum; teaching reading, writing, grammar, literature, speaking, and critical analysis; differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs in an inclusive classroom; assessing student progress and providing timely, constructive feedback; preparing students for examinations, projects, and higher education requirements; maintaining accurate academic records and contributing to reports and parent meetings; supporting extracurricular, literacy, and school-wide activities; collaborating with colleagues, special educational needs coordinators, and school leadership; and maintaining high standards of safeguarding, behaviour, and student wellbeing.

- Bachelor's Degree In English, Education, Or A Related Field
- Relevant high school teaching experience
- Strong communication skills
