Joinery and Workshop Coordinator
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Joinery and Workshop Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of our joinery workshop. The ideal candidate will plan, schedule, and supervise workshop activities, coordinate with site teams, project managers, and clients regarding production timelines, ensure that all joinery work meets quality, safety, and design specifications, and coordinate material and equipment requirements across projects. The role also involves managing inventories of timber, hardware, and workshop materials; supervising and mentoring carpenters, joiners, and workshop staff; maintaining equipment and ensuring proper machine operation and compliance with safety requirements; reading and interpreting technical and shop drawings; liaising with procurement on material sourcing and cost control; and maintaining workshop records, production reports, and related documentation. Applicants must have at least 3–5 years of experience supervising a joinery or carpentry workshop, strong knowledge of woodworking machinery, tools, and materials, the ability to read technical and shop drawings, good leadership and team coordination skills, and basic computer skills, including MS Office and scheduling tools. A valid trade certification or diploma in joinery, carpentry, or a related field is preferred. Candidates must be willing to relocate, hold a valid passport, and have a good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
