Bartender
Job Description
An Italian restaurant in Muharraq is seeking a Bartender to prepare and serve premium alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests and floor staff quickly, efficiently, and according to the company’s standards. Responsibilities include warmly greeting every guest with an authentic smile, assisting with menu recommendations, handling inquiries in a positive and clear voice, maintaining a pristine bar and dining area, arranging attractive bottle displays, accurately processing customer payments, restocking supplies, and meticulously maintaining daily and weekly inventory records. The Bartender must ensure that all alcohol service strictly complies with national and local legal guidelines.
Requirements
- Education
- High School Diploma Or Equivalent Preferred
- Experience
- 3 Years
- Minimum of three years of professional bartending experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong guest-service and hospitality skills
- Expert knowledge of cocktail mixing, ingredients, and beverage pairings
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing in the primary workplace language
- Ability to remain calm, alert, and professional under high-volume pressure
- Ability to stand and move quickly for extended periods, bend, crouch, and regularly lift up to 25 lbs
- Commitment to following all rules, safety standards, emergency protocols, and alcohol-service regulations
- Exceptional hospitality instincts and a consistent effort to exceed guest expectations
Restriction / Special Note
- Full-time, shift-based role, including weekends and holidays
- Availability for a flexible, cyclical schedule based on business needs, including peak hours, weekends, and holidays
