MEP Site Supervisor
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced MEP Site Supervisor with a strong background in building construction projects to supervise and coordinate daily MEP site activities. The job description and key responsibilities include supervising daily MEP installation activities at construction sites; monitoring HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and other MEP works; and ensuring that all works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedules. The successful candidate will read and interpret MEP drawings, shop drawings, layouts, and technical specifications; supervise technicians, workers, foremen, and subcontractors on site; coordinate MEP works with civil, structural, architectural, and finishing teams; monitor manpower, materials, equipment, productivity, and daily site progress; conduct regular inspections to ensure proper workmanship and quality; identify and resolve site coordination issues, MEP clashes, and installation problems; coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging, and rectification works; ensure compliance with HSE requirements, PPE, and construction site safety procedures; prepare daily progress, manpower, and site activity reports; coordinate with MEP Engineers, Project Managers, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors; and ensure the timely completion of MEP works in accordance with project requirements. Applicants must hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, MEP Engineering, or a related technical field, have 3–5 years of experience as an MEP Supervisor or Site Supervisor in building construction, and possess strong hands-on experience in MEP construction projects. Experience with villas, residential buildings, commercial projects, or high-rise buildings is preferred. Candidates must have good knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems; the ability to read and understand MEP drawings and shop drawings; previous experience supervising construction teams and subcontractors; and strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Bahrain construction experience is required, candidates must be currently available in Bahrain, and immediate joiners are preferred. Candidates whose experience is primarily in maintenance or facilities, without a strong construction background, may not be suitable.
