Job Description
A reputed cleaning company in Bahrain is seeking an experienced Cleaning Project Manager with a solid background in cleaning operations to oversee cleaning and janitorial operations at the project site. The role involves managing cleaning services, ensuring site cleanliness, overseeing project budgets and schedules, maintaining a high level of client satisfaction, setting up cleaning operations, and resolving client concerns. Responsibilities include implementing cleaning protocols for the job site in compliance with safety and cleanliness standards; supervising the organisation and preparation of project supplies and equipment; ensuring that all cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials are stocked and properly maintained; providing on-site leadership to ensure that all cleaning and sanitation work is performed to the highest standards; maintaining strong, positive relationships with clients; supervising janitorial staff to ensure compliance with proper cleaning protocols and safety standards; handling urgent requests or changes to cleaning schedules with a flexible, solution-oriented approach; implementing and maintaining a quality assurance programme to consistently meet and exceed cleanliness standards; ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations and standards; conducting regular safety training for janitorial staff; investigating and reporting workplace accidents or incidents and implementing measures to prevent recurrence; and training and managing a team of cleaning staff, conducting performance reviews, providing feedback, and implementing development plans. Applicants must have at least three years of cleaning project management experience, including experience managing a staff of 100 or more people. Airport experience is an advantage. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for interacting with clients, staff, and management, along with functional knowledge of infection control techniques, sanitation protocols, and cleaning methods. The ability to use critical thinking to identify and resolve issues, manage conflicts, and make effective decisions is also required.
