MEP Project Supervisor

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced MEP Project Supervisor – Construction to supervise and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), HVAC, drainage, and firefighting works across building construction projects. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on construction experience, excellent site coordination skills, and the ability to supervise MEP teams, subcontractors, materials, and daily site activities while ensuring works are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules. Key Responsibilities - Supervise and coordinate daily MEP construction and installation activities on site. - Oversee Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, drainage, firefighting, and related MEP works. - Supervise MEP technicians, workers, foremen, and subcontractors. - Review and interpret MEP drawings, shop drawings, layouts, and technical specifications. - Coordinate MEP works with civil, structural, architectural, and finishing teams. - Monitor daily manpower, materials, equipment, productivity, and work progress. - Conduct regular site inspections to ensure proper workmanship and quality. - Identify and resolve MEP clashes, technical issues, and site coordination problems. - Ensure MEP installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements. - Coordinate testing, inspection, commissioning, snagging, and rectification activities. - Coordinate with MEP Engineers, Project Managers, consultants, contractors, and suppliers. - Follow up on MEP material requirements and ensure timely availability at site. - Prepare daily and weekly MEP progress, manpower, and site reports. - Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, site safety procedures, and applicable Bahrain regulations. - Support project handover and final MEP close-out activities. Requirements - Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, MEP Engineering, or a related technical field. - Minimum 4–6 years of relevant MEP construction supervision experience. - Strong hands-on experience in building construction projects. - Experience with villas, residential, commercial, high-rise, or large-scale construction projects is preferred. - Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and building services systems. - Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and layouts. - Proven experience supervising subcontractors, technicians, foremen, and construction teams. - Good understanding of MEP installation, testing, inspection, commissioning, snagging, rectification, handover, and close-out activities. - Strong leadership, communication, coordination, organisation, and problem-solving skills. - Knowledge of MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage. - Bahrain/GCC construction experience is highly preferred. - Must be currently available in Bahrain. - Immediate joiners are strongly preferred. Important Candidates with strong construction-site MEP experience will be given priority. Candidates whose experience is primarily in maintenance or facilities management without hands-on construction experience may not be suitable for this position.
