Job Description
We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate for a full-time position. Candidates of Indian, Filipino, or Sri Lankan nationality are preferred, and both male and female applicants are welcome to apply. The requirements for this role include a high school diploma or equivalent and between zero and one year of experience in retail, sales, or customer service, with basic retail experience preferred; fresh candidates with a good attitude may also be considered. Good communication skills in English, a friendly and approachable personality, a strong customer service orientation, basic mathematics and cash-handling skills, the ability to stand for extended periods, and a willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays are required. Responsibilities include warmly greeting customers and identifying their needs and preferences, recommending and demonstrating products, achieving daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets, maintaining a clean, organised, and visually appealing sales area, accurately handling cash, card, and digital payments using the point-of-sale system, assisting with stock replenishment, tagging, and inventory checks, answering questions about products, prices, and promotions, handling complaints politely and escalating them when necessary, coordinating with team members, and reporting to the Store Manager.
