Assistant Restaurant Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our food and beverage and hospitality team. The role involves assisting the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, supervising and supporting service and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth workflow and high performance, ensuring exceptional customer service, handling guest feedback and complaints professionally, monitoring staff attendance, scheduling and performance, ensuring compliance with company policies and health, safety and hygiene standards, assisting with inventory control, stock ordering and cost management, supporting the training and onboarding of new employees, maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant at all times, assisting in achieving sales targets and operational goals, preparing reports and communicating operational issues to management, and performing other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or Supervisor in a restaurant or food and beverage environment is preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.
- Good understanding of restaurant operations and customer service standards.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
