Sous Chef, Waitress

A restaurant and lounge is hiring motivated and professional team members, including a Sous Chef and waitresses. The Sous Chef must have previous experience in restaurants or lounges, good experience in Eastern and international cuisine, and the ability to lead and manage the kitchen team. The Sous Chef must strictly and consistently follow the recipes, preparation methods and operating standards provided by management, while maintaining consistency in taste, quality, portion sizes and presentation. The ability to work under pressure, along with a professional appearance and attitude, is required, as is a valid Flexible Work Permit. Previous experience in restaurants or hospitality is preferred for the waitresses. They must be presentable and well-groomed, with a friendly, confident and professional personality, excellent customer service skills, and previous experience in sales and customer persuasion. They must be able to recommend dishes, drinks and additional items to guests, demonstrate strong upselling skills, increase the value of each table’s order in a professional and non-pushy manner, understand guests’ needs, and make suitable recommendations. A professional, energetic and team-oriented attitude, as well as a valid Flexible Work Permit, is required.
