Construction Surveyor
Job Description
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Construction Surveyor to join our construction team in Bahrain on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for site surveying, setting out, leveling, measurements, and ensuring that construction works are executed according to approved drawings, coordinates, and specifications. Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will conduct construction site surveys, measurements, and leveling; accurately set out foundations, columns, walls, slabs, and other structural works; establish and maintain benchmarks, coordinates, reference points, and gridlines; operate Total Station, Auto Level, GPS, and other surveying equipment; check site dimensions, elevations, levels, and coordinates against approved drawings; review architectural, structural, and civil drawings for setting-out requirements; prepare survey reports, field notes, calculations, and as-built survey data; monitor construction works to ensure correct alignment, levels, and dimensions; identify discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions and report them to the Site Engineer or Project Manager; coordinate closely with site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and project teams; maintain surveying equipment and ensure its proper calibration and condition; and support the preparation and verification of as-built drawings and documentation. Applicants must hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field and have proven experience as a Construction Surveyor or Land Surveyor in building and construction projects. Strong knowledge of setting out, leveling, coordinates, benchmarks, and site measurements is required, along with proficiency in using Total Station, Auto Level, GPS, and related surveying instruments, the ability to read and interpret construction drawings, and strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of AutoCAD and survey data processing is an advantage, Bahrain or GCC construction experience is preferred, applicants must be currently available in Bahrain, and immediate joining is highly preferred.
Requirements
- Education
- Diploma Or Bachelor's Degree In Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, Or A Related Field.
- Proven experience as a Construction Surveyor or Land Surveyor in building and construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of setting out, leveling, coordinates, benchmarks, and site measurements.
- Proficient in using Total Station, Auto Level, GPS, and related surveying instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and survey data processing is an advantage.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Bahrain or GCC construction experience is preferred.
- Immediate joining is highly preferred.
