Land Surveyor

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Land Surveyor specializing in construction to join our team in Bahrain. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out accurate land and construction surveys, setting out construction works, establishing levels and coordinates, and supporting site teams to ensure that works are executed accurately according to approved drawings and specifications. Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will conduct accurate land, topographical, and construction surveys at project sites; carry out setting out, leveling, alignment, and positioning of construction works; establish and maintain survey control points, benchmarks, coordinates, and reference points; operate Total Station, Auto Level, GPS, and other surveying equipment; verify measurements, elevations, coordinates, dimensions, and site conditions against approved drawings; and perform setting-out works for foundations, columns, slabs, roads, drainage, utilities, excavation, and other construction activities. The role also involves reading and interpreting architectural, structural, civil, and engineering drawings; coordinating with Site Engineers, Project Engineers, contractors, and construction teams; monitoring construction works to ensure correct levels, dimensions, alignment, and tolerances; identifying discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions and reporting them to the concerned engineer; preparing survey reports, field notes, calculations, as-built information, and other survey documentation; assisting with the preparation and verification of as-built drawings; maintaining accurate survey data records; ensuring surveying equipment is properly maintained and calibrated; and following project quality, safety, and site procedures. Requirements: Candidates must hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience as a Land Surveyor in construction. Strong practical experience with Total Station, Auto Level, GPS, and other surveying instruments, good knowledge of construction setting out, leveling, coordinates, benchmarks, and site measurements, and the ability to read and interpret construction and engineering drawings are required. Knowledge of AutoCAD and survey data processing is preferred. Experience in building, villa, commercial, high-rise, infrastructure, or civil construction projects is an advantage, along with strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills and good communication and coordination skills. Applicants must currently be available in Bahrain, immediate joiners are preferred, and previous Bahrain or GCC construction experience is highly preferred. Relevant skills include Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, AutoCAD, setting out, leveling, construction surveying, topographical surveying, as-built surveying, and site measurements.
