Accountant
Job Description
Responsibilities include maintaining accurate books of accounts, including daily entries, ledgers, and reconciliations; handling accounts payable and receivable, vendor payments, and invoicing; preparing monthly financial statements and management reports; tracking daily sales, expenses, and cash and bank movements; assisting with VAT filing and compliance with Bahrain regulations; and coordinating with management and auditors as needed.
Requirements
- Prior experience as an Accountant, ideally in the food and beverage, restaurant, or café industry
- Working knowledge of Tally, Odoo, or similar accounting software
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel
- Understanding of VAT and Bahrain accounting practices
- Fluency in English
- Knowledge of Malayalam is an advantage
- Dependable and detail-oriented
- Candidates from Kerala are preferred
