Job Description
Urgently seeking an experienced and compassionate nurse to provide home care for an elderly patient who has suffered a stroke. Responsibilities include providing attentive daily care and companionship, assisting with feeding and tube care as required, helping prevent pressure sores through appropriate repositioning and skin care, monitoring the patient and reporting concerning changes, and following the care instructions of the family and healthcare team.
Requirements
- Nationality
- Filipino Or African
- Experience caring for geriatric patients, especially stroke patients.
- Knowledge and experience with NG or feeding tube care.
- Ability to assist with feeding, hygiene, repositioning, and daily activities.
- Ability to monitor the patient’s general condition and recognize changes requiring medical attention.
- Patient, responsible, compassionate, and trustworthy.
- Previous home-care experience preferred.
- Immediate availability highly preferred.
