QS Engineer
Job Description
Seeking an experienced Quantity Surveying Engineer to manage estimation, cost control, and commercial tasks in construction projects. The role requires coordination with project teams and suppliers to ensure accurate cost management and reporting. Candidates should be currently available in Bahrain with relevant construction experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 3–7 years of Quantity Surveying experience in construction.
- Strong background in civil/building construction projects.
- Proficiency in quantity take-offs, BOQs, estimation, costing, valuations, and final accounts.
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings.
- Knowledge of construction contracts and commercial procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS/estimation software.
- Strong analytical, numerical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience in Bahrain/GCC construction preferred.
- Experience with villa, residential, high-rise, commercial, fit-out, or general building projects is a plus.
