Storekeeper

A Storekeeper is required for retail operations in Alkhafji and Hafr Al Batin. Applicants must state the expiry date and profession shown on their Iqama in their application. Purpose and impact on the organization: the role contributes to meeting or exceeding store sales and profit targets by maintaining an effective and organized stockroom, managing store operations with particular focus on product flow to and from the sales floor, and using expertise and experience to provide feedback and support to selected team members. Key responsibilities include understanding store sales, key performance indicator and individual performance targets, taking ownership of them, and using all available store resources effectively to meet or exceed them; applying retail and commercial expertise to maximize sales opportunities by prioritizing merchandise flow to the sales floor; acting as a role model for stockroom operations; completing deliveries quickly and accurately while following stock protection procedures; accurately recording and managing all inter-store and warehouse inventory movements in a timely manner; ensuring adequate supplies for an effective stockroom environment and continually maintaining the stockroom, including all merchandise within and around its vicinity; complying with store policies and procedures to maintain a safe shopping and working environment; identifying opportunities for improvement and communicating suggestions to store management to support commercial success; guiding and training selected store team members on basic stockroom processes and behaviours; collaborating productively and respectfully with team members; remaining available to support other team members when needed; completing all applicable training programmes and applying the learning effectively on the job; and seeking coaching and learning opportunities to continually improve performance. The role involves relationships with customers, peers and the supervisor. Minimum qualifications include Storekeeper competencies, essential English fluency, and preferably Arabic fluency. Preferably, candidates will have one to two years of experience in a sports or fashion retail environment focused on customers and commercial performance, together with basic numeracy, literacy and verbal communication skills.
