Job Description
A high-end Italian restaurant in Muharraq is seeking a Bar Manager to lead its bar operations and beverage team. The role includes managing, scheduling, motivating, and continuously training the bar team to drive sales and upselling while ensuring strict adherence to the company’s service standards; greeting high-profile hosts and guests upon arrival; circulating throughout the floor during events to ensure complete satisfaction and promptly resolve any issues; supervising the execution, cleanliness, and functional aesthetics of the bar area; overseeing beverage presentation to ensure it meets luxury standards; overseeing all payment processing; maintaining rigorous stock controls; tracking inventory; building strong relationships with premium suppliers and representatives; and staying fully updated on and strictly enforcing local licensing laws and legal guidelines concerning alcohol service.
Requirements
- Education
- Degree In Hospitality Or Equivalent Preferred
- Experience
- 5 Years
- At least five years of managerial experience specifically in a high-end, luxury, or fine-dining restaurant environment.
- A degree in Hospitality or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Strong business acumen in inventory management and staff scheduling.
- Comprehensive knowledge of premium spirits, wine, and craft cocktails.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the primary workplace language.
- Ability to stand and lead a team during high-volume periods.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds.
- Calm, composed, and highly professional demeanor under intense business volumes.
- Ability to motivate a team to exceed sales goals while maintaining elite service.
- Strong commitment to operational rules, safety standards, and a guest-first philosophy.
