Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician specialising in electrical and mechanical maintenance to ensure that all machines and auxiliary equipment operate in optimal condition for the required speed and output and consistently produce acceptable-quality products. The role includes carrying out in-house maintenance and repairs on plastic production machines, including thermoforming, extrusion, injection moulding, press and packing machines, as well as handling plumbing-related work across both plants and all locations to ensure the timely resolution of identified issues. The technician will conduct preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance on all electrical panels, electrical motors, parts and switches in the plastic production machinery. All maintenance activities must be recorded in the machine history card and the morning and evening checklists. The role also involves recommending electrical and electronic parts for replacement before they fail.
Requirements
- Education
- Mechanical Technician Qualification Or Certification
- Experience
- 3 Years
- Mechanical Technician qualification or certification
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience in the same field
- Ability to work independently and within a multinational and multicultural team
- Good English communication skills
- Organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to repair and maintain machines in the plastic section, including thermoforming, extrusion, press, injection moulding and packing equipment
