Interior Designer and Site Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a part-time Interior Designer and Site Engineer to manage both design and site responsibilities. The role involves creating 3D interior designs and renders, preparing drawings and layouts, conducting site visits and measurements, supervising interior fit-out and finishing works, coordinating workers and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are executed in accordance with approved designs and drawings, quality standards, and timelines. The candidate must fulfil the combined responsibilities of interior design and site engineering.
Requirements
- Proficiency in creating professional 3D interior designs and renders
- Ability to prepare 2D drawings, layouts, elevations, and technical drawings
- Understanding of the practical execution of designs on site
- Experience conducting site visits and supervising project sites
- Experience following up on interior fit-out and finishing works
- Ability to supervise and coordinate workers and subcontractors on site
- Attention to detail when checking measurements, materials, workmanship, and finishing quality
- Ability to ensure site execution aligns with approved designs and drawings
- Ability to resolve technical and execution issues on site
- Experience monitoring project progress and coordinating between the office, site team, suppliers, and management
- Strong knowledge of interior design, technical drawings, materials, fit-out execution, and site supervision
- Background in both interior design and site engineering
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering software
