Job Description
This position entails the accurate management of daily financial transactions involving cash, card payments, UPI, and other payment methods. The incumbent will be responsible for preparing various financial documents, including bills, invoices, and receipts, while also maintaining a detailed daily cash book along with comprehensive transaction records. Key duties include performing cash and bank reconciliations, managing petty cash funds, and providing assistance with data entries in accounting software platforms such as Tally. The role also requires the verification of financial documents to ensure accuracy and compliance, as well as support in handling Goods and Services Tax (GST) documentation. Additionally, the candidate will be tasked with preparing detailed reports related to cash flow and accounts. Effective coordination and communication with customers, suppliers, banking institutions, and the internal accounts department form an integral part of the responsibilities. Maintaining strict confidentiality of financial information is mandatory, alongside providing support for routine accounting activities under the direction and supervision of the Accountant or Finance Manager.
Requirements
- Experience with cash handling and accounting entries in Tally or similar software.
- Familiarity with GST documentation and basic statutory financial records.
- Ability to prepare financial reports and perform reconciliations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing transactions.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with various stakeholders.
