MEP Project Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced MEP Project Engineer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will manage and coordinate MEP works for construction projects, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, and ensure that projects are completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules. Responsibilities include supervising MEP installation, testing, commissioning, and site activities; reviewing and interpreting MEP drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and material submittals; coordinating with consultants, architects, structural engineers, subcontractors, and site teams; monitoring project progress, quality, materials, and manpower requirements; conducting site inspections to ensure that MEP works comply with approved standards and requirements; preparing progress reports, technical documents, and site updates; identifying and resolving technical and site-related MEP issues; ensuring compliance with Bahrain construction regulations, health and safety requirements, and project specifications; and assisting with project planning, cost control, procurement, and material coordination. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, have proven experience as an MEP Project Engineer on construction projects, possess strong knowledge of MEP systems, installation, testing, and commissioning, be able to read and interpret MEP drawings and technical specifications, and have good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience with commercial buildings, high-rise buildings, villas, or large-scale projects is preferred, as is construction experience in Bahrain or the GCC. Candidates must be locally available in Bahrain, and immediate joiners are highly preferred.

- Proven experience as an MEP Project Engineer in construction projects.
- Experience with commercial buildings, high-rise buildings, villas, or large-scale projects is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and technical specifications.
- Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Bahrain or GCC construction experience is preferred.
- Immediate joiner is highly preferred.
