MEP Construction Supervisor
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced MEP Construction Supervisor with a strong background in building construction to supervise and coordinate daily MEP installation and construction activities on construction sites. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting works, along with the ability to manage site teams and subcontractors. Responsibilities include overseeing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting works; reading and interpreting MEP drawings, shop drawings, layouts, and specifications; coordinating MEP activities with civil, structural, architectural, and finishing teams; supervising technicians, workers, foremen, and subcontractors; monitoring manpower, materials, equipment, productivity, and site progress; conducting site inspections and ensuring proper quality and workmanship; identifying and resolving MEP clashes, technical issues, and installation problems; ensuring that all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, schedules, and safety requirements; coordinating testing, commissioning, snagging, rectification, and handover activities; preparing daily and weekly progress and manpower reports; and coordinating with MEP Engineers, Project Managers, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors. Applicants must have three to five years of experience or more in MEP construction supervision, strong hands-on experience in building construction, good knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems, the ability to read and understand MEP and shop drawings, and experience supervising construction teams and subcontractors. Experience in villa, residential, commercial, or high-rise projects is an advantage. Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills are required. A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, MEP Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Bahrain or GCC construction experience is highly preferred.
