Junior Accountant – Construction
Job Description
We are seeking a Junior Accountant with a solid grasp of accounting principles and attention to detail. Experience in construction or contracting is preferred. The role involves handling daily accounting tasks, managing invoices and reconciliations, and supporting financial compliance. Candidates should be locally available and ready to join immediately or on short notice.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1-3 years experience as Junior Accountant, Accounts Assistant, or similar role.
- Experience in construction or contracting is an advantage.
- Proficient in accounting principles, AP, AR, invoicing, reconciliations, and petty cash.
- Skilled in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally or ERP.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good English communication and organizational skills.
- Locally available in Bahrain.
- Immediate joiner or short notice availability preferred.
- Previous Bahrain/GCC experience is an advantage.
