MEP Project Engineer
Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for an experienced MEP Project Engineer to manage, coordinate, and supervise MEP works for building construction projects in Bahrain. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on construction experience and a solid understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating MEP activities from planning and installation through testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover. Experience with high-rise buildings, large villas, residential, or commercial projects will be highly preferred. Key Responsibilities - Plan, coordinate, and manage MEP construction activities from start to completion. - Lead and supervise the installation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems. - Review and interpret MEP drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and technical documents. - Coordinate MEP works with civil, structural, architectural, and finishing teams. - Supervise and coordinate MEP subcontractors, engineers, technicians, and site teams. - Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, productivity, and quality of MEP works. - Conduct regular site inspections and identify technical, coordination, and installation issues. - Review material submittals, method statements, RFIs, inspection requests, and technical submissions. - Ensure MEP installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, project schedules, and quality standards. - Coordinate with consultants, clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and project management teams. - Monitor MEP schedules and ensure project milestones are achieved on time. - Coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging, rectification, and final handover of MEP systems. - Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MEP progress reports. - Attend technical and coordination meetings and provide practical engineering solutions. - Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and applicable Bahrain construction regulations. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, MEP Engineering, or a related field. - 3–7 years of relevant MEP construction experience. - Strong hands-on experience in building construction projects. - Experience with high-rise buildings, large villas, residential, or commercial projects is highly preferred. - Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems. - Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and technical documents. - Experience in managing MEP subcontractors and site teams. - Good knowledge of MEP installation, testing, commissioning, QA/QC, and HSE procedures. - Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, Navisworks, and MS Office is an advantage. - Strong communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills. - Bahrain/GCC construction experience is highly preferred. - Must be currently available in Bahrain. - Immediate joiner is preferred. Preferred Candidate Candidates with strong Bahrain construction experience, particularly those who have managed MEP works for high-rise buildings and large villa projects, will be given priority.

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, MEP Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3–7 years of relevant MEP construction experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in building construction projects.
- Experience with high-rise buildings, large villas, residential developments, or commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.
- Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Experience managing MEP subcontractors and site teams.
- Good knowledge of MEP installation, testing, commissioning, QA/QC, and HSE procedures.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, Navisworks, and MS Office is an advantage.
- Strong communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Bahrain or GCC construction experience is highly preferred.
